The MALBA is one of the largest art museums in the Latin American continent. Its construction began in 1998. It was opened in 2001 and has about 400 works of the most emblematic exponents of the art scene of the region (Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, Xul Solar, Antonio Berni, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Fernando Botero)
This group of paintings, sculptures and installations are part of the permanent exhibition of the MALBA museum but also there are temporary exhibitions throughout the year.

Until February 15, 2016 visitors can enjoy "Francis Alys: story of a negotiation," a selection with the best of this Belgian-Mexican artist.
Also until February 15, 2016 you can visit the exhibition of three works of argentine Federico Manuel Peralta Ramos, "The metabolic era ".
Leandro Erlich "Democracy symbol", the exhibition of an artist who took Buenos Aires Obelisk as raw material for his vision, can be seen until March 2, 2016.
